What automatic lifting barriers are

We can define automatic barriers as the tools used to manage vehicle access, ideal to manage car parks, both private or pay, or to control access in certain areas or roads. Being much faster than an automatic gate, a barrier is quite useful for the entry/exit of vehicles from factories and warehouses during working hours and for loading/unloading goods, to then prevent access with an automatic gate when companies are closed, to guarantee enhanced safety.

Type of automatic lifting barriers

Automatic barriers must be chosen according to the width of the opening to manage and the visibility of the bar (bars with reflective adhesives or LED lights).
For collective accesses that involve numerous users, we recommend you choose low-voltage barriers that can guarantee continuous and fast opening and closing.

Features of automatic lifting barriers

All the mechanisms made by the company comply with the specific sector regulations: UNI EN 12445:2002 and UNI EN 12453:2002 representing the test methods and safety requirements that industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates must have during use, respectively.
To be used in the different existing setups, the devices are made with bars of variable length. This construction method allows using openings up to 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 meters, in a wide range of possibilities.
Opening times are naturally shorter when the bars are short and lengthen with the increase of their length. However, we are talking about a few seconds: if a mechanism with a bar up to 3 meters long takes 2.2” to open, the mechanism with a bar up to 6 meters takes 5” to open completely. Respectable times that do not affect the usability of the opening, even with intense traffic.

The barrier is ready for the installation of photocells

Low voltage versions use optional batteries that allow the mechanism to work even when there is no power.
If used in garages, barriers can be fitted with special articulations that, applied to the bar, allow its folding at 90°, for indoor installation also with very low ceilings.
