How to program the traffic light led (red-green) of an automatic barrier through TauApp
Why is it necessary to program the traffic light led of an automatic barrier?
It is necessary to program the traffic light led of the barrier to make the boom more visible. Thanks to the red and green led strip, it is possible to see whether the boom of the barrier is open or closed even from a long distance or in bad weather conditions
When is it possible to program this one of an automatic barrier?
It is possible when Tau’s automatic barrier is equipped with the boom’s led strip 800LARG or the cabinet’s led strip 800LLRG, who is only available for LUXE model.
How to program the automatic barrier’s traffic light led?
After having followed the wiring scheme of the “boom led” or of the “cabinet led”, you must use TauProg or TauApp (connected to T-WIFI) in order to start programming colours.
Today we will show you how to program colours through TauApp:
- Connect T-WIFI to the control board of TAU’s automatic barrier
- Open TauApp from your smartphone
- Connect the control board to TauApp.
- Click on Change parameters.
- Click Configurable outputs.
Now you must change the output B 16-18 on LEADBAR TRAFFIC LIGHT and then on C 19-20 with LEDBAR TRAFFIC LIGHT.
Lastly, select “write on control board” to save and activate the parametric change. From now on, the boom will turn red when closed and green when fully open.
Which one of Tau’s barriers can be equipped with the traffic light led?
The traffic light led can be installed on all Tau’s automatic barriers equipped with an elliptical boom, like RBLO and RBLO-L, for example. Luxe barrier can also be equipped with the traffic light led, on its boom as well as on its cabinet.
